1 orange, seedless and cut up
½ banana, diced (fresh OR frozen)
¼ cup mango, diced (fresh OR frozen)
¼ cup coconut flakes
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp flax seeds, fresh ground*
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of Celtic sea salt
Handful of ice cubes (little more in using fresh fruit)
Put all ingredients into blender and mix for 1 to 2 minutes on high.
The longer you mix the creamier to consistency!
*If you are NOT using a Vitamix, grind flax seeds separately first using a coffee grinder or other seeds grinder. You do not need to do this step if using Vitamix, because the Vitamix is strong enough to grind up the whole flax seeds (where as other blenders we have found cannot).
