Avocado Cilantro Hummus
1 Can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
3–5 small garlic cloves
1/4 cup cilantro
1/2 small avocado
2–4 TBS olive oil
1/2 –1 tsp Celtic sea salt (to taste)
- Place drained and rinsed garbanzo beans into food processor
- Add garlic, avocado, and cilantro. Blend together for about 1 minute and then scrap down sides of the bowl.
- Add olive oil and salt, blend for another minute or till the hummus is smooth
- Taste for seasoning. Add more salt if needed.
Optional additions to make other flavorful variations:
Green onions and parsley, roasted red bell peppers, roasted garlic, etc.
